PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES POLICY
This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data of Users of the website www.petersen.com.pl and the rules for the use of cookies.
§ 1. DATA CONTROLLER
The controller of personal data collected via the website is PETERSEN ANNA WÓJCICKA, with its registered office in Łódź, ul. Warecka 37, 91-212 Łódź, VAT No.: 7262116055, REGON: 363259142 (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller"). The Controller may be contacted in writing at the registered office address or by e-mail at: biuro@petersen.com.pl.
§ 2. PURPOSES, LEGAL BASES AND PERIOD OF DATA PROCESSING
Users' personal data (such as: first name, surname, company name, e-mail address, phone number and other information provided in the content of the enquiry) are processed in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) for the following purposes:
- Handling the enquiry submitted via the Contact Form and conducting further pre-contractual correspondence.
- Performance of a contract and legal obligations (in the event of establishing cooperation, including conceptual processes, moodboards, prototyping and invoicing).
- Archiving textile projects to enable their precise quality reproduction for repeat orders in the future.
- Analytics and statistics on website traffic (optimisation of the Service's operation).
- Establishing, pursuing or defending claims that may arise from business relations.
§ 3. RECIPIENTS OF DATA
- Users' personal data may be transferred to third parties supporting the Controller in conducting its business, solely on the basis of appropriate data processing agreements (Article 28 GDPR). These recipients include:
- The hosting and server provider.
- Entities providing IT and technical support services for the website.
- The accounting and bookkeeping office (in the event of proceeding to the invoicing and production stage).
- Providers of analytical tools (Google LLC).
- Data will not be resold or made available to commercial entities for their own marketing purposes.
§ 4. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Each User, to the extent resulting from the applicable law, has the right to:
- Access their data and receive a copy thereof.
- Rectification (correction) of data if it is incorrect or out of date.
- Erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") - in situations where processing is no longer necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected, or there is no legal basis for processing.
- Restriction of data processing.
- Data portability (to the extent of processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Object to the processing of data based on a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), including objecting to the archiving of projects.
- Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) - if the User considers that the processing of their data infringes the GDPR.

§ 5. VOLUNTARY PROVISION OF DATA
Providing personal data in the Contact Form (e-mail address, basic details) is voluntary, but is a necessary condition for the Controller to be able to respond to the enquiry, prepare a concept, moodboard or send a quotation.
§ 6. COOKIES AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS
- The Service uses cookies (so-called "cookies"), i.e. small text files saved on the User's end device while browsing the website.
- The Controller uses cookies to ensure the proper operation of the website (necessary cookies) and for analytical and statistical purposes (optional cookies).
- The following tools provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) are integrated on the website:
- Google Analytics - used to analyse traffic in the Service, study the number of visits and user behaviour. This data is anonymised and aggregated.
- Google Tag Manager - a tag management system on the website, facilitating the configuration of analytical scripts.
- Google Search Console - a tool monitoring the website's visibility in search results, not using data that identifies users.
- The User may at any time change cookie settings directly in their web browser (complete blocking or deletion of cookies). However, restricting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the website.
§ 7. DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EEA AND PROFILING
- Due to the use of Google tools, data may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google LLC ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data by applying standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and by participating in the Data Privacy Framework programme.
- Users' personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the GDPR.
